1. NDTC has several opportunities for practical ministry for its students.
(a). Sunday Practical Ministry is conducted every week and students are required to go to different
nearby congregations.
(b). ‘Afterschool Program’ is organized for the children of the nearby villages. Children come to the
campus Monday to Thursday between 4:00 – 5:00 pm and NDTC students help them with their studies.
This ministry has the potential to reach out to the poor children.
(c). One-month intensive ministry is organized during the summer break. The college is responsible to
assign students to different parishes.
(d). One week Mission Field Exposure is organized in the month of February every year for B.Th. Final
Year students.
(e). Andrew Ministry of one day outreach program is conducted yearly for Second Year and Third year
students for creative outreach ministry. Students spend around a month preparing for this under the
guidance of a coordinators.
(f). The above ministry activities provide sufficient opportunities for ministerial skill formation of
students.
2. NDTC provides sufficient activities for spiritual and character formation of students.
(a). The activity includes morning personal prayer, chapel worship and evening vespers. Students also
have opportunity for personal prayer, Friday fasting prayers, chain prayers, and Sunday Community
Worship.
(b). Guru-Shishya Fellowship, group of students led by one faculty member meets twice in a month for
individual care, pastoral counselling and time of recreation.
